Reposted from weddingchicks.com Wedding venues host hundreds of weddings every year, it’s a wonder that they don’t all look the same, but they don’t–that’s where a wedding design comes in. True, your venue should complement or enhance your wedding design in some way, but it doesn’t dictate it. Florals and decor are what truly set the scene and create an experience that’s unique to your wedding. The design for this wedding inspiration was boho-chic. To bring that inspo to life, this team incorporated boho elements like mix and match chairs, dried florals, cane and rattan furniture, and elegant pieces like cut crystal glasses, gilded chargers, and a classic bouquet of white roses and calla lilies. Boho Chic Dreams created these show-stopping florals like the ceremony arch and the hanging floral installation at the reception. Stop and Stare Events designed this shoot to show couples how to elevate the conventional boho wedding into a chic, modern affair. Choosing an elegant venue was a key part of communicating the formality of the event and Spanish Hills Club fit the bill perfectly. The large windows carried the reoccurring arch theme through the entire wedding and allowed gorgeous natural light to spill into the space that Katie Jackson Photography expertly captured […]

by ALEXIS LUNSFORD, reposted from The White Wren Today we are sharing a beautiful mix of modern & classic wedding design at this Spanish Hills Country Club wedding. The two styles were blended flawlessly & complimented each other in all the right ways. The soft creams paired with blushes & the gentle textures of lace went alongside the bold black & gold elements to create wedding inspiration for any couple seeking a romantic yet glamorous day! Our inspiration for this editorial was to combine our romantic, elegant wedding design with the new modern venue renovations of Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo, California. The versatility of the new limestone and black window panes and doors make this venue a true hidden gem in Ventura County. Our Bride styled by Ever After Bridal Boutique in her Venus gown by the Pollardi Fashion Group was a show-stopper. Complete with head-to-toe lace, beads, and pearls, gold and pearl earrings, and pearls in her hair, she was a sight to behold. A couple lovely bridesmaids accompanied our beautiful bride in their Birdy Grey champagne-colored dresses. Reposted from Santa Barbara Wedding Today’s lovely elopement put together by Santa Barbara event planner, Events by Fran, is the epitome of the perfect boho and modern wedding. The event exudes tranquility with many warm, earthy tones and gold accents scattered throughout. The couple, after several years together and a beautiful family, decided to elope and make it official. They chose the Ever After Bridal Boutique as their venue. The location is petite and perfect for a small, intimate gathering such as today’s elopement, and also includes beautiful, eye-catching elements such as a greenery wall and waterfall. Wedding photographer Kendall Ann captured all the details starting with the contemporary wedding invites and the bride’s stylish lace gown. Tangled Lotus crafted wedding flowers for the day in shades of orange and pink and three rainbow arches from Backdrop Boutique SB framed the ceremony. Amigo Party Rentals helped to furnish the reception and tables were dressed with burnt orange runners, napkins, and fashionable gold silverware. Reposted from Santa Barbara Wedding With a balance of rustic tavern elements and elegant features put together by many talented Santa Barbara vendors, this styled shoot was truly a work of art. The Tavern at Zaca Creek provided the perfect setting for the event and Events by Fran helped to coordinate every detail. Michelle Ramirez Photography captured the elegant, fall colors, specifically showcased within the floral arrangements provided by Tangled Lotus. The styled bride and groom were dressed by Ever After Bridal and Friar Tux, and the bride’s hair and makeup was completed by Jackie Romero. A gorgeous reception table display was designed by both Amigo Party Rentals and Otis + Pearl, and featured blush and white linens and tableware for a perfect contrast to the dark wood of the table. The Cake from Posies & Sugar was simple yet elaborate, adorned with blush and cream-colored flowers. The shoot ended with some great shots of the styled couple around the venue, and specifically a couple in front of the pool, before all contributing vendors jumped in for a final group picture. By Dasha, Reposted from Dash Dean Photography This breathtaking Deer Creek Ridge wedding in Malibu couldn’t be more perfect: lots of love, tears of joy, and smiles, all under the Californian sun with breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean. 2020 has certainly been full of surprises and changed plans. And I was so happy for Chloe and Jamison when they told me they were still able to make their wedding happen! You may remember them from their gorgeous Malibu Mountains Engagement session earlier this summer. If you haven’t seen it, make sure to take a peek as it has a little story on how they met and what movie they used as an excuse to hang out together at first. This doesn’t happen at every wedding that I photograph, but I love it when the toasts end and I feel like I have a deeper understanding of who the bride and groom are. Chloe’s father, and sister, and Jamison’s mother shared beautiful memories of the two of them that allowed me to feel like I knew them better. And the way Jamison hugged Chloe who was missing her recently deceased mom dearly, especially that day, just melted my heart! It reassured me […]
By Alexis, Nov 16, 2020, reposted from The White Wren. Today we are sharing such a moving & heartfelt vow renewal of a couple that made a connection from their first meeting! Heather & Jason have a very unique story that I found captivating, noting below how the most important part of the day was during their ceremony when they made their sacred promises to each other. On a day that is as significant as your wedding, these two certainly displayed the meaning of anchoring yourself together & designing the day to be something that you truly love. Be sure to read all the amazing words from the couple below! How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another? “In 2013 Heather stumbled across a YouTube Video of Jason wearing a Lion beanie on his head sharing a prayer and inspirational message encouraging everyone to BE THE LIGHT in the world, and she saw a glimmer in his eye that she recognized. They set up a time to connect over Skype one day to meet and greet, they shared their passions and dreams, prayed together for the first time and that is when they knew this […]
By Taylor Young, as posted in to be loved – see original article The perfect wedding dress is something that many brides dream of, but they find the task to be daunting to say the least! That’s why our job here at Ever After Bridal is to help you not only find the gown that fits all of your preferences, but just as importantly fits your personality. Now! Don’t let that inner critic take over! We understand that no one is harder on themselves, than of course, ourselves. Let me let you in on a little secret: Your loved ones will have a much more forgiving perception of your gorgeous features than you do, and your sweetheart will be left breathless by how beautiful you look. Here we strive to make all of our brides feel like their best self. So in our bridal suites we have no mirrors. We all, including myself, have a tendency to pre-judge ourselves every time we look in the mirror, so by removing the mirrors and having your family and friends see you walk out in a beautiful gown, it totally changes the perception and feel of your bridal shopping experience. We all know […]
